Ranji Trophy 2025-26 Highlights Round 6 Day 3: CHD, SAUR Win Big, MUM, SER On Verge Of Victory

As we all know that Prashant Veer, IPL's most expensive uncapped player, got ruled out of the sixth round for Uttar Pradesh due to injury on day 1. He is not going to return for his side in the on-going round and he has been replaced by left arm spin allrounder Shivam Sharma.

Saurashtra thrashed Punjab by 194 runs within two days on a "raging turner" in Rajkot. After Saurashtra set a target of 320, Punjab’s batting collapsed for just 125. Spin duo Parth Bhut (10-wicket match haul) and Dharmendrasinh Jadeja (5/55) dismantled the visitors, while Ravindra Jadeja provided crucial all-round stability.

MP scored 323, riding on Venkatesh Iyer's 87 and some contributions from skipper Rajat Patidar and Saransh Jain. In reply, Karnataka have slumped to 168/8, with Aneesh fighting a lone battle with a defiant 87. They still trail by 155 Runs.

Manipur has a long way to go if they are to generate a positive result in this match against Bihar. They are four down at 157 runs and are trailing by 365 runs. Ronald M, who has scored 51 off 104, is their only hope.

After getting bowled out for 139 in the 1st innings, Kerala are still struggling to find their rhythm in their 2nd with the bat. Chandigarh posted 416 runs in the 1st innings and the South Indians are trailing by 228 runs.

Hyderabad are on the verge of collapsing under 200-250 runs in response to Mumbai's 1st inning total of 560 runs. The Nizams are currently trailing by 381 runs with Rohit Rayudu and CV Milind currently at the crease.

Pure domination from Chhattisgarh as they gain a massive 219-run lead against Delhi who posted 216 runs in their 1st innings.

Opening batter Ayush Pandey led from the front and smashed a sensational 183 off 357 to lay the foundation along with AG Tiwari who scored 108 off 197. Chhattisgarh were also helped by the 30s from Sanjeet Desai and Mayank Verma.

Karnataka have been bowled out for just 191 runs despite having some of the most in-form batters in their side. Mayank Agarwal and Devdutt Padikkal got out for ducks while Karun Nair scored just 12 runs. Opening batter KV Avneesh was the standout performer with his 92 off 171.

Baroda crushed Nagaland by an innings and 6 runs in a clinical display. Baroda posted 353, fueled by Shivalik Sharma (80) and Jyotsnil Singh (55). Nagaland crumbled for 206 and 141, as Mahesh Pithiya (match haul of 5 wickets and 55 runs) earned Player of the Match honors.

It's lunch break at the MCA stadium in Pune and Goa are trailing by 94 runs after bowling out Maharashtra for 350 runs. Goa themselves scored 209 in their 1st innings with the bat.

Urvil Patel and Jaymeet Patel are having some partnership in the middle for the 5th wicket in their 2nd innings with the bat against Railways. GUJ are trailing by 41 runs in their response to RLYS' total of 424 runs.

We have our first result from day 3 of the round 6 encounters in the Ranji Trophy 2025-26 season. Chandigarh have thrashed Kerala by an innings and 92 runs in Thiruvananthapuram. CDG batted only once in the match, scoring 416 while KER had a poor outing with the bat as they got out for scores of 139 and 185.

Medium fast bowler Rohit Dhanda was adjudged man of the match for picking 7 wickets across innings.

Delhi's second innings is off to a cautious start with both openers - Sanat Sangwan (19*) and Priyansh Arya (31*) holding their ends quite well. Both have forged an unbeaten 50-run stand for the 1st wicket. Earlier DEL were forced to follow-on as they bundled cheaply for 216 in response to CHG's mammoth 505-run total in 1st innings.

Hyderabad are in hot waters against Mumbai as they have lost three wickets within 100 runs in the 2nd innings while still trailing by 192 runs. Earlier, they were asked to follow on by Mumbai, as they were wrapped up for just 267 runs in response to MUM's mammoth 1st innings score of 560.

MP have further strengthened their grip in the match by taking their lead to 308 runs. Wicket-keeper batter Himanshu Mantri has been holding an end to take MP's lead beyond 300. Karnataka have a lot to worry about as the 4th innings target becomes tougher.

Gujarat are in hot waters against Services as they are 9 down in their 2nd innings with a lead of just 80 runs. Jaymeet Patel has been the highest scorer for GUJ in both the innings but haven't got much support from other batter.

Group A: Andhra need 166 runs to win with four wickets in hand. While, UP are on the verge of as they trail by 316 runs in their second innings with only three wickets in hand. Odisha need 408 runs more to win with 8 wickets in hand.

Group B: Chandigarh won by an innings and 92 runs against Kerala. Saurashtra won by 194 runs against Punjab. MP lead by 336 runs against Karnataka in their 2nd innings with 4 wickets in hand.

Group C: Railways need 99 runs to win against Gujarat. Services trail by 102 runs against Bengal in their 2nd innings with only 2 wickets in hand. Assam lead by 147 runs against Haryana with only 3 wickets left. Tripura lead by 212 runs against Uttarakhand with 2 wickets left.

Group D: J&K trail by 83 runs against Puducherry in their first innings with 4 wickets in hand. Hyderabad trail by 127 runs against Mumbai in their 2nd innings with 3 wickets left. Delhi are 131 runs behind Chhattisgarh with 7 wickets in hand.
