Australian Open 2026: Learner Tien Sweeps Away Daniil Medvedev To Secure First Grand Slam Quarterfinals

20-year-old Learner Tein stream rolled former World No.1 Daniil Medvedev with a 6–4, 6–0, 6–3 victory in the round of 16 of the Australian Open 2026 on Sunday, securing his place in the top eight of a grand slam for the first time. Although the American teenager had beaten Medvedev in a grueling five-set match last year, he cruised past the former finalist in three straight sets in one hour and 42 minutes.
