Slavia Prague and FC Barcelona have faced each other twice in the 2019-20 UEFA Champions League. Barcelona won the away leg 2-1, but the match at Camp Nou ended in a goalless draw.
Referee Chris Kavanagh blows his whistle, and the visitors get tonight's match underway. It's a chilly night in Prague, but Barcelona's strong starting XI will look to bring the fireworks with their performance. The hosts will have their work cut out to get something out of this. Stay tuned!
An early opportunity, but it falls the way of the home side. A floated ball into the box made its way to Chory. The target man did not expect that and took a snap shot from the edge of the box, and it flew just over Garcia's goal.
The home have taken the lead against Barcelona inside the opening 10 minutes!! It was a good delivery towards the near post from the corner, and Holes flicks it on before Kusej bundles it over the line... somehow! Slavia won't care, as they lead 1-0!!
We are past the half-way mark in the first half, and the home side are all over Barcelona at the moment. The visitors are not being allowed to settle in by Slavia Prague's high press and intense closing down. Hansi Flick looks displeased on the touchlines.
Much better from Barcelona, with Eric Garcia having a go from distance that needed to be tipped behind by Stanek. The visitors are settling into their rhythm now, as would have been expected.
What a clinical finish from Fermin to draw Barcelona level! Raphina plays a clever backheel to De Jong, who plays a good through pass to find the run of Fermin. The Barcelona forward has a swipe shot towards goal, and it somehow beats Stanek and finds the back of the net.
Fermin Lopez turns it around with his second goal of the night, and Barcelona take the lead!! Pedri tees up Fermin outside the box, and the La Masia youngster lets fly with his right that curls into the top corner. He goes straight to Flick, who pats him on the shoulder.
What a response from the home side, who draw level in less than two minutes. It's a carbon copy of the first goal, with a corner being delivered towards the near post. Chaloupek, completely unmarked, flicked it on towards the middle, and it crashes against the head of Lewandowski to go into the back of the net for an own goal.
What a frantic end to the first half! Fermin thought he had put Barcelona ahead with his second goal of the night. However, lightning did strike twice for Barcelona as Slavia Prague hit from the corner yet again. Lewandowski got his name on the scoresheet, albeit at the wrong end. It's all square at the break in Prague.
Slavia Prague get the second half underway with all to play for in the next 45 minutes. The home side sense a real opportunity to get their first win of the tournament tonight, and have brought on two new players at the break. David Doudera and Tomas Vicek are on, replacing Tomas Holes and David Moses.
A positive start from Barcelona in the opening stages of the second half. Pedri forced a save from Stanek within seconds of restart, and the visitors have enjoyed a lot of the ball in the five minutes since.
Blaugrana almost take the lead after another brilliant effort from Fermin, but the offside flag goes up against de Jong as he attempts to poke the rebound.
This is not what Barcelona fans want to see. Pedri went down in pain holding the inside of his thing, and after some attention from the physios, it's clear he can't continue. Dani Olmo is quickly subbed on in his place as we cross the hour mark. Bardghji also comes off with Rashford taking his place.
What a beauty from Dani Olmo!! The midfielder, who on the pitch moments ago, latches on to a loose ball at the edge of the box. He thinks about shooting with his left, but then drags it on to his right foot before letting fly. It zips past the bodies and into the top corner, past the reach of Stanek. Barcelona take the lead again!
The wait is finally over for Lewandowski, who gets his first goal in the Champions League this season. Brilliant work from Rashford, who beats his marker from pace and cuts it back across the face of goal. It was a bit quick, and Lewandowski needed a second attempt to poke it past Stanek into the back of the net.
With the game all but wrapped up, Flick makes a double change. Young Marc Bernal replaces Fermin, and Araujo comes on in place of Balde. Gerard Martin moves to the left-back position, and Araujo comes in the middle. One change for the home side too as Chytil replaces Kusej.
The fourth official holds up his board to indicate a minimum of three minutes to be added on at the end of regulation time. Will we see one more twist in the tale in this six-goal thriller? As things stand, Slavia are out of qualification contention, while Barcelona hang on, just about.
Barcelona stay on track for automatic qualification with a hard-fought win. Brilliant fight shown by Slavia Prague, who are out of the tournament but will exit with their heads held high.
