In the last singles match of Day 5, men's 12th seed Casper Ruud is taking on Spaniard Jaume Munar at the Margaret Court Arena. Ruud has taken the first set 6-3 and the second set is level at 4-4 currently.
Casper Ruud takes the second set 7-5 and is also leading the third 3-1 against Jaume Munar. The Norwegian is just three games away from booking his place in the third round.
It's a straight-sets victory for Casper Ruud, who dispatches Jaume Munar 6-3, 7-5, 6-4 to advance. The 12th seed next faces veteran Croatian Marin Cilic in the third round.
